I know people who have lived here all their life and for whom rising taxes may force them to sell their property and move away, that’s not right. Growing older should not mean that you are forced to sell or move away from your property.

To avoid this we need to expand our tax base, we need to aggressively recruit new businesses to relocate to our community and bring new jobs and new opportunities to our area so that our tax base is broad and spread out between residents and businesses alike. Seniors who have lived and worked here should not be forced from their homes by rising taxes.

We can hold the line on property taxes by recruiting new companies to move to our community but it will take a vision, commitment and a dedication to promote the East side of Osceola County. I believe that I can be that person.
